Westminster Bids Farewell to Women’s College Basketball Coach Gustin

Shay Wyatt, the director of athletics at Westminster College announced that the women's college basketball coach JD Gustin has resigned, and he has been appointed as the director of college basketball operations for the women's college basketball program at the University of Utah.

Wyatt said he was thankful to coach Gustin for his years of special service and contributions to the Westminster College and its women's college basketball program. Coach Gustin developed a nationally recognized NAIA women's college basketball program at Westminster, rendered his extraordinary service to the institution.

Coach Gustin departed from Westminster with career record of 146-83 (.638) and hailed as the most successful women's college basketball coach ever in school history. Under his guidance Westminster won three conference titles and advanced to the NAIA National Championships for a record five consecutive seasons.
